        Back by popular demand!

        THIRD THURSDAY MARKETS

        Join us again this summer for an open air market at the nursery from 5-8 pm on the third Thursday of each  month, starting in May and going through September. We will be featuring local vendors, food trucks, and musicians, along with activities for kids and adults. RedLou's mobile library will also be on site for special reading moments for young people. We will be there rain or shine, but will cancel on Facebook if there is dangerous weather. Click below to learn more, or find out how to become a vendor!

        Private Workshops

        Looking for a fun way to reconnect with friends or family? Want to create a memorable team-building activity for your co-workers? We will provide the space, expertise, and materials as you create memories and fun projects. Availability is limited, so please plan ahead. You can view our PDF below, and email us at info@secondnatureatreadscreek.com to discuss your private workshop ideas.

        Third Thursday Market

        Spend an evening with us at the nursery once a month at our Third Thursday Market. Enjoy live music, food trucks, vendors, gift shop, greenhouse, waterfalls, koi pond, a mobile library, beach and swimming hole. Watch Facebook for classes to be held during market, as well. Market starts at 5pm with food and shopping, and live music begins at 6pm.

        Gem & Fossil Event

        Check out how much fun we had exploring at the nursery! From collecting amazing rocks and druzy quartz, to sifting for gems in the sand, our Gem & Fossil Event is a hands-on, exciting, educational day for people of all ages. The swimming in the creek and ice cream is an added bonus! Watch Facebook for event information and sign-up.

        Raptor Meet & Greet

        Over the past few years, our amazing community helped us raise enough money to help feed the birds and build a new enclosure at the River Valley Raptor Center, and got to experience a lot of amazing birds while learning all about these birds of prey. Watch Facebook for details of future events.
