GIVING BACK

As owners of several successful businesses over the last 20 years, Dave and Jen have always made a point to give back to the community and people who support the community. Whether through donations, an extra set of hands during a crisis or for a good cause, or through the use of space at the nursery, the Tubbins have been there to lift others up.

At Second Nature at Reads Creek, we’re committed to supporting the community that supports us. We believe it’s important to assist non-profit organizations which do good work within our community and to help wherever we can and as our budget allows. We’re proud to sponsor many local non-profits and learning activities each year through the donation of goods, time, talent or space.  

The following guidelines have been established to assist the donation review process. While receiving and reviewing all submitted requests, Second Nature at Reads Creek will make a limited number of donations available each year. 

Priority is given to applications meeting the following criteria:

• Organizations operating as a legal non-profit organization with IRS 501(c)(3) status.
• Events which are open to and encourage public participation.
• Organizations or events located in a 75-mile radius of the Readstown area

Because we receive hundreds of donation requests each year, we are now asking that all donation requests go through our website's Donation Request Form. This will streamline the process. We will no longer be accepting requests via social media, email, through employees, in person, or via snail mail...only through the form below. Ask us about our Gift Certificate Partnership Program as a very effective way to bring in extra funds with very little work on your part.

Here is the process to appy:

• Submit a request for your non-profit's fundraising efforts using the online application form below and submit it at least six weeks in advance of the event.
• Donations are subject to availability.
• Non-profit organizations may be awarded a donation only once a year.
